Drake House Cornhole Tournament

The Drake House is a 501c3 organization that works to respond to the growing number of women and children experiencing homelessness in North Metro Atlanta. We involve members of our community in the effort to keep single mothers and their children united under one roof as they work toward self-sufficiency.

The Rotary Club of Milton realized that during this pandemic that mothers and children were at a greater risk of homelessness. The club hosted a one day cornhole fundraiser for 3 hours with the proceeds going to the Drake House. The city of Milton came out in full support of this event along with several other district clubs signing up teams. We had 40 local businesses donate raffle prizes to be auctioned of.

We were able to present the Drake House with a check for over $3500 with the remainder being used in our Foundation.

Partner Involvement
We partnered with Orkin and Associates and Olde Blind Dog Irish Pub. Orkin allowed us to us the Crabapple Market Green for free and Olde Blind Dog provided all of the boards and bags along with the beverage tent.
